CARROLLTON, Ga. - Junior softball pitcher
Calli Hardison earned some postseason hardware on Wednesday, being named to the Academic All-ASUN team.
The Gainesville native is one of 11 ASUN players to earn the honor of Academic All-ASUN. The junior had a career-best 4.04 ERA over a team-best and career-high 100.2 innings in the Wolves' first season of Division I softball. Hardison pitched seven complete games, earned five victories and was one of two pitchers in the ASUN to defeat the ASUN champions, North Florida.Â
In the classroom, Hardison boasts a 3.91 GPA as a nursing major.Â
Hardison becomes UWG's first softball player to earn a postseason ASUN award, and the third UWG student-athlete this season to earn an Academic All-ASUNÂ joining Zuriyah Davis (Women's Basketball) and Carleigh Bynum (Women's Track and Field).
