PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. - The UWG men's golf team saved their best for last on Tuesday at the Golfweek Fall Challenge, shooting 290 at True Blue Golf Club to climb one spot and finish in 11th place. 

Beginning the day in 12th place, UWG shot their lowest round of the tournament to climb one spot on the leaderboard. 

Thomas Romani led the Wolves again in round three, firing a two-under 70 for his 15th career round at or under par. The junior made three birdies and had just one blemish on the card today and finished in 17th place. 

Freshmen JP Groat and Reid Rockett finished 45th and 47th respectively as each shot 75 on Tuesday.  

Hayden Canary shot his best round of the week in the final round, posting a 72 to finish tied for 59th. Luke Able also had his best round of the event in the final round, carding a 73 to finish in 67th place individually. 

Georgia Southern won the event over Troy by a nine-stroke margin. 

UWG's next action is set for September 20-22 at Inverness Country Club in Birmingham for the GMac Invitational hosted by Birmingham.
