GREENVILLE, N.C. - It was a final round 295 for the UWG men's golf team as they wrapped up play at the Ironwood Collegiate Classic with a 13th-place finish.
The event was shortened to 36 holes due to weather on Monday, and it was Christopher Dedman who followed up yesterday's round of 70 with a final round 71 to pace the Wolves. Dedman made three birdies and a bogey on Monday and finished in 22nd place.
Next down the leaderboard was Thomas Romani who shot a final round 74 with three birdies, posting a 53rd-place finish.
Milton Wallin, Tyler Nesci, and Algot Faldt each shot 75 on Tuesday. Wallin finished 66th individually while Nesci placed 76th and Algot Faldt took 82nd.
Tournament host East Carolina won the event by two strokes, fending off Long Island who shot an incredible round of 268 on Tuesday.
West Georgia is back to the course for practice for two weeks before wrapping up the fall season on October 14-15 at the Pinetree Intercollegiate in Kennesaw, Georgia.
