CARROLLTON, Ga. - The UWG men's golf team has two tournaments remaining before their conference championships and the first is set for Monday through Wednesday at True Blue Golf Club. UWG will compete alongside 15 other teams at the Golfweek/Stifel Spring Challenge in Pawley's Island, SC.
The Wolves will take four of the five that were in the lineup last time out at the Linger Longer Invitational, but head coach Shannon Lipham has Luke Sienkiewicz back healthy and in the lineup this week, and looking for him to return to the form he showed this fall.
Sienkiewicz posted four of his 11 fall rounds at or under par and posted a best round of three-under par. He will be in the fifth spot behind Milton Wallin, Thomas Romani, Max Winnersjo, and Luke Able.
Wallin has been stellar this spring, posting six rounds at or under par while Romani and Winnersjo each posted a one-under round in their last event. Luke Able in the fourth spot has also been trending upward, posting a two-over 74 in his final round at Linger Longer.
UWG is in the middle of the pack in the field according to the Clippd Rankings with UAB's 103rd ranking marking the highest-ranked team in the field.
