CARROLLTON, Ga. - UWG junior golfer Thomas Romani was named on Thursday as the United Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week. 

Romani notched a top-20 finish, tying for 17th after rounds of 70, 74, and 70 at the Golfweek Fall Challenge at True Blue Golf Club on Pawleys Island, South Carolina.  

Through two tournaments this fall, Romani is averaging 71.50 and has been at or under par in 50 percent of his rounds. His final round 70 on Tuesday in the Golfweek Fall Challenge was his 15th career round at or under par. 

It's the first time in Romani's career he has been named the conference Golfer of the Week.
