Evans enjoyed a stellar career during his four seasons (1989-92) at West Georgia. The Summerville, Ga. native was named a team captain twice in his tenure and rushed for 1,000-yards as a senior. His biggest distinction is as a school record-holder, as Evans set the standard for all-purpose yards in a career and he stands alone as the only player in West Georgia football history to surpass 5,000 career all-purpose yards.
