A native of nearby Whitesburg, Yancey posted numbers at UWG that had never been seen before in Carrollton. She is a four-time All-Gulf South Conference selection, GSC Freshman of the Year in 2011, and was named All-America following her senior season 2014. She owns the top spot in the UWG Softball record book in almost every offensive category, This includes home runs (66), RBI (181), total bases (451), batting average (.376) and many more.
